The Best Ever Chocolate Covered Pretzel Cookies

If you're looking for a dessert that is sweet and salty, then these chocolate covered pretzel cookies are perfect! This recipe will show you how to make the best ever chocolate covered pretzel cookies. The ingredients are simple and easy to find. When your friends come over they'll be begging for more!

Ingredients

-One cup of all-purpose flour

-Half a teaspoon of baking powder

-One quarter teaspoon of salt

-One stick of unsalted butter, at room temperature

-One third cup of sugar

-One egg, beaten

-Two tablespoons of milk

- One hundred and twenty grams of chocolate chips (or chopped up chocolate bars)

- One hundred grams of Nature's Garden Pretzels, broken into small pieces.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix well. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until everything is well combined. Add the milk and mix again. Fold in the chocolate chips and pretzels.

Take a spoonful of batter and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure that each cookie is about two inches apart from one another as they will spread out when baked. Bake for twelve to fifteen minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Leave to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!

Extra Tips

-These cookies are best eaten on the day they are made but can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.

-If you want your cookies extra crispy, bake them for an extra five minutes.

-If you want to make these pretzel cookies gluten free, replace the flour with a gluten free one.

-If you don't have parchment paper, you can use a silicone baking sheet or just grease the baking sheet with butter.

-You could also try dipping the cookies in white chocolate or dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Yum!
